1. I look it up in the dictionary. 我在詞典里面查找它。

look up在此句中意為"查（詞典中的詞、參考書(shū)中的事實(shí)等）"。如：

When you do not understand a word, you can look it up in this dictionary.當(dāng)你不懂一個(gè)單詞時(shí)，可以在這本詞典里查找。

另外，look up還可表示"尋訪，探訪（某人）"和"向上看"。如：

On my way home, I looked up an old friend of mine. 在回家的路上,我去看望了一下我的一個(gè)老朋友。

Don't look up. 別向上看。

2. I like reading, but my favourite way to learn English is watching TV and movies. 我喜歡讀書(shū)，但我最喜愛(ài)的學(xué)英語(yǔ)的方法是看電視和電影。

句中的to learn English 是動(dòng)詞不定式短語(yǔ)作后置定語(yǔ)，修飾way。如：

The best time to do exercise is in the morning.做運(yùn)動(dòng)最好的時(shí)間是在早晨．

3. Would you like to translate English words into your own language? 你想把英語(yǔ)單詞翻譯成你自己的語(yǔ)言嗎？

⑴ translate...into...意為"把......翻譯成......"。如：

He translated the speech from Spanish into English.他把這個(gè)講話從西班牙語(yǔ)翻譯成英語(yǔ)。

⑵ own在此是形容詞，意為"自己的"。如：

This is my own house. 這是我自己的房子。

own也可用作動(dòng)詞，意為"擁有"。
