詞性不同

　　1、despite ：副詞：即使、盡管；名詞：侮辱、傷害、輕視、鄙視、憎恨；動詞：故意使煩惱、故意傷害。

　　2、 in spite of ：詞性：盡管、不管、不顧。

　　側重點不同

　　1、despite ：despite 側重于主觀上的意識。

　　2、 in spite of ： in spite of 側重于客觀上意識。

　　用法不同

　　1、despite ：She told friends she will stand by husband, despite reports that he sent another woman love notes.她告訴朋友說，她將支持丈夫，盡管有報道說他在給別的女人遞情書。
