　　【范文】One day, the Buddha passed a village, some villagers speaked to him with foul language. The Buddha listened to them quietly for a while, then he said to them:"thanks a lot, and now l have to preach the villagers of the next village, goodbye." "Don't you heard the foul words for you?" One of the villagers asked unbelievably."Of course l did, but l am not controlled by somebadys' words, and l would never have response to someone's feelings. l am the master, not the slave of my own feelings."

　　【翻譯】有一天，佛陀經(jīng)過(guò)一個(gè)村莊，一些人對(duì)他口出穢言。佛陀靜靜地聽(tīng)了一小會(huì)，然后說(shuō)：“謝謝你們，我今天還要趕去下一個(gè)村莊。”其中一人聽(tīng)后覺(jué)得不可思議，說(shuō)：“難道你沒(méi)有聽(tīng)見(jiàn)我們罵你嗎?”佛陀：“我不會(huì)被別人的嘴巴所控制，也不會(huì)對(duì)別人的情緒做反應(yīng)，我是情緒的主任，不是情緒的奴隸。”
